Colors

The U of A owns one of the most iconic and unique color palettes in higher education and honoring it as such is an essential part of how our brand operates. Adhering to our color guidelines across all media ensures a consistently powerful visual identity and maximum accessibility and recognizability for all.

Primary Brand Colors

The University of Arizona primary colors are Arizona Red and Arizona Blue. These colors should have a strong presence in a given composition.

Secondary Brand Colors

Our secondary colors support Arizona Red and Blue and allow for added flexibility and accessibility across print and digital settings. Secondary colors also provide emphasis or added depth for icons, charts, infographics, and other imagery. Our color palette has remained unchanged except for colors that failed to meet readability and accessibility standards. Colors must be used consistently.

Accent Colors

Our highlight color palette complements our primary colors, playing off hues from the natural environment. These colors should not dominate compositions, but rather appear as accents in graphic elements or act as supporting fills within a composition and should not be used as text colors.
